How We Check Coupons & Offers

Last updated: September 11, 2026

We want coupon and promotion information on Mega Sale Coupon to be useful, clear, and responsibly presented. This page defines the language and checks our editorial team should use before an offer is published or materially updated.

What our offer labels mean

Last Checked

An editor or system reviewed the offer source, destination, and available terms on the stated date. It does not necessarily mean that the coupon was successfully used at checkout.

Code

A coupon or promo code that a customer enters manually in the retailer’s coupon, voucher, or promotion field.

Deal

An offer or discount that may apply automatically, through a sale page, or after clicking through. A Deal does not necessarily require a code.

Sale Price

A price displayed by the retailer for an eligible item or service. Availability and final price must be confirmed with the retailer.

Bank / Payment Offer

An offer that depends on an eligible card, bank, wallet, EMI option, or other stated payment method.

Cashback

A benefit returned after an eligible transaction, subject to the provider’s timing, limits, and terms. Cashback is not represented as an immediate price reduction unless the source says so.

New User Offer

An offer requiring eligibility as a new customer or account under the retailer’s current rules.

Selected User / Account Offer

An account-specific offer that may not be available to every customer.

Expiry

We use a merchant-provided expiry date when available. If the source provides no expiry, the accurate label is “Expiry date not provided”; we do not invent a date.

Tested or Verified

We do not use “Tested”, “Verified”, “Working”, “100% Working”, or similar wording unless a documented event supports that specific claim. “Last Checked” alone is not proof that checkout succeeded.

What we check

  • The retailer or brand associated with the offer.
  • The destination link and whether it leads to the expected retailer page.
  • The offer type and coupon code, when a code is required.
  • Available start and expiry information.
  • User eligibility, minimum order value, product restrictions, geographic limits, app/web conditions, and payment requirements.
  • Redemption instructions and whether the headline accurately reflects the available terms.

How checking works

Checks may include reviewing the retailer’s official offer page, published terms, checkout instructions, or other primary information available at the time. When practical, a code may also be tested in the retailer’s shopping flow without completing a purchase. The internal offer record should retain the source, method, date, and responsible editor.

If essential details cannot be confirmed, the offer should be clarified, labelled accurately, or withheld.

Offers can change

Retailers can change or withdraw promotions without notice. Eligibility may depend on account status, location, payment method, selected products, or other conditions. The retailer’s checkout page and current terms determine the final price and eligibility.

Expired or incorrect offers

Offers confirmed as expired, materially inaccurate, or linked to the wrong destination should be corrected or removed from active presentation. Readers can report an issue through the Contact page or email contact@megasalecoupon.com.
