Before heating Warmies, identify the exact product and read its sewn-in instructions. This checklist is a quick pre-use check. Use our heating and cooling guide for the broader routine; neither page replaces the product label.

Complete these checks before pressing Start

Check Action
Product identity Match the instructions to the item in your hands, including whether it has a removable pouch.
Instruction label Read the heating method and time; stop if the label is unreadable and the model cannot be confirmed.
Microwave wattage Find the appliance’s output rating rather than guessing from its size.
Product condition Look for damage or a previous overheating incident before use.
Previous heating Check whether it has fully cooled before another cycle.
Person using it Ensure an adult can supervise heating and use as directed.

Why there is no universal Warmies heating time

The official US care guide gives different instructions for product groups and microwave wattages. It also distinguishes heating only the removable pouch of Supersized Warmies. Do not copy the time from another size or heat a whole item whose instructions specify a pouch.

Can you reheat Warmies immediately?

The care guide requires a return to room temperature before reheating and says cooling can take up to four hours. It specifies microwave heating, not an oven, and adult supervision. Check the current instructions and the condition of your item before reuse.

Keep the instructions with the gift

If someone else will use the product, keep the sewn-in label readable and show them where to find the official care guide. Do not replace instructions with a handwritten time that may refer to a different microwave. Our children’s gift checklist helps assess the recipient’s routine before buying.

For cleaning questions, go to how to clean Warmies. For seasonal storage, use the storage checklist. These are separate care decisions; extra heating is not a substitute for cleaning or drying.
